Taranaki Foundation joins the Taranaki Facilities Consortium!

The Taranaki Facilities Consortium (TFC) have topped off a successful year with the addition of the Taranaki Foundation to the consortium.

Taranaki Foundation joins the TFC as one of 10 organisations working to support the development of quality sport, active recreation and play facilities in Taranaki.  

TFC Independent Chairperson Andrew Turner is delighted to welcome the Taranaki Foundation to the consortium, noting that “the Foundation provides a vital voice in supporting and developing collaborative, sustainable and accessible places for people to be active.”

The Foundation, whose purpose is to nurture and build the prosperity of our region through community giving, partnerships and philanthropy are a natural partner for the TFC, and a welcome addition.

Taranaki Foundation Chief Executive Josh Hickford says “The TFC plays a vital role in the Taranaki ecosystem, ensuring the region is fit for the future. We are excited to bring a philanthropic lens to the partner group and hope to add value to an already strong team.”

The Taranaki Foundation together with the region’s four councils, Venture Taranaki, Sport Taranaki, Sport NZ, NZCT and Toi Foundation make up the TFC partners.
